Serving Central Alberta since 2002, the Safe Harbour Society provides our community’s adult frontline services in the form of:
- Emergency Intox Shelter services
- Medically Supported Detox program
- Indigenous Elder Support and Wellbriety program
- Housing Assessment
- Outreach Services
Our Medically Supported Detox program provide adults (18 years and older) with support and a safe environment as they withdraw from alcohol, drugs, or other substances. The program is voluntary, free of charge and an average length of stay is 7 days. Nursing staff, physicians, and case managers are sensitive to the needs of clients during this time and provide twenty-four-hour support and encouragement.
- Treatment Services are provided to adults aged 18 and up.
