Our mission at Opportunity Home Treatment and Recovery Centre is to provide a nurturing, supportive living environment in which men recovering from addiction are offered the tools to transform their lives. With support from the Drayton Valley Community and Brazeau County, we will provide our members a multifaceted recovery program. Participants will pursue personal, academic, and professional goals for the purpose of improving their quality of life and becoming productive members of society.
Opportunity Home is a 14 bed, voluntary, private, non-profit, faith based, residential, recovery and rehabilitation program for men, ages 19 years and older. Our program is based on the 12 steps of Alcoholics and Narcotics Anonymous.
The residents will undergo a 90 day faith based program. This program will mirror Freedoms Door, which has operated in Kelowna BC for 19 years. In the initial phase, we intend to open our doors to men only.
